Nov 29- Deep cleaned my gigantic living room today. Hopefully it will stay that way until after Christmas.... but I doubt it. lol
Nov 26- Random Ramblings
* Today marks the one year anniversary of my aunt’s death. Time makes it easier, but she is still very much loved and greatly missed. RIP Hazie.
* Henry had his first grooming today. He must have been 50% hair because he is so tiny now! He is cuter than ever!
* I finished all the shows I’ve been watching for the past several months. I feel kind of lost now. I’m starting last year’s season of Criminal Minds now. It seems to me that I watch a lot of television, but I mostly listen while I stitch.
* Tomorrow I will start cooking for Thanksgiving. I usually bring most of the sides. I’m making carrot souffle, broccoli & rice casserole, mashed potatoes. My daughter is making apple/walnut cake.
* Black Friday = Hermit Day to me. No bargain is worth dealing with the frenzied crowds.
Nov 24- We went to see Catching Fire tonight. It was very good. Some idiot booed the ending…. I guess they didn’t know this is part of a series. It did end rather abruptly, but that’s because there’s more coming.
And call me old fashioned, but isn’t 3-7 years old a bit young to be watching the Hunger Games? There were several groups of people with kids around
that age. Really? You want your impressionable child watching a movie about people fighting to the death? SMH.
Nov 16- Santa passed very early this year. (picture of boys with their guns)

Nov 14- 25 degrees.....brr! That's cold even for me. lol
Nov 13- I just made coffee,but forgot to add the coffee to the pot. It made a nice cup of hot water. lol #tooearlyinthemorning #brainstillsleeping
-It’s 30 degrees! *happy happy sigh*
-Our puppy loves to hide, and then jump out and attack anyone who walks by. It’s the cutest thing! He’ll hide for quite awhile waiting for someone to walk by. He’s a (maybe)1 pound fluff ball- so you can imagine how ferocious he is. lol
11-12-13- Freezing weather tonight! The wind is strong, my window are open & I'm making chili AND soup. #BigHappySigh
-Cold weather is finally here! For awhile, at least. ;) The wind is blowing very hard- the bayou is full of waves and there are whirlwinds of leaves everywhere.
I’m making chili and soup, and I’m about to go cover my outdoor plants so they don’t freeze.
Tomorrow= stay in pajamas all day!
Nov 8- Today is not off to the best start. My heater isn’t working…and I have a ton of errands to run so I *don’t* have time to sit around waiting for a repair man today.
On the brighter side, I had an awesome dream about exploring a very old house full of secret rooms and interesting antiques. Too bad I can’t live in that dream today. Ha.
