He was doing none of that at his original home, so this is all new learning for him.
Four Days.
Poodles get a bad rap because of all the poofs and fluffy hair. A lot of people view them as “sissy” or “frou frou” dogs. They are anything but. They are extremely intelligent. In fact, they are the second smartest breed (next to the border collie). They are also hypoallergenic, they don’t shed at all, and they don’t smell like most dogs (ya know- that “doggy” smell). For all those reasons they are my favorite breed.
The only downside is the amount of grooming they require. It can be expensive, depending on how often you have it done. I prefer shorter cuts, so I get mine done every 4-6 weeks, and it costs $30-$40 each time. I spend more money on cutting my dog’s hair than I do on my own!

Nov 2- I don’t understand the Duck Dynasty obsession.. I’ve seen bits and pieces of it, but I just don’t see the humor.I don’t get the appeal of the beards. I certainly don’t understand the marketing explosion. They have everything from t-shirts to band-aids to action figures. I’ll be glad this fad is over.

I hate grocery shopping, but when I have to do it, I love going late at night.or very early in the morning. It’s the best time because there’s hardly any other people, and the shelves are usually freshly stocked.

Our Halloween got rained out. But the kids still got lots of candy, and we got the best treat of all this year, our own little phantom. :)
