Christmas Ornaments, part two

Another one of my favorites painted by my mom:

Someone made this for me when I was 4 years old....and I still have it.  lol

These were always on our tree when I was growing up:

Even though I have a lot of my grandmother's ornaments, this is the one that reminds me of her the most.  It wasn't hers.  It was mine.  I made it in 1994- her last Christmas. :(  It reminds me of her because I remember when I showed it to her, she held it in her hand and touched the stitches.  She said I'd done a good job, though I'm sure she was just being nice. lol  (It was one of the first things I ever stitched, and I can see lots of mistakes in it now).  Every time I see this ornament, I see her holding it in her hand, just like it was yesterday.  It's like a little piece of her is still here.

This was one of my favorites when I was young,  It's a Holly Hobbie ornament from the 70s.
