My tree doesn't have a theme.
I prefer each ornament to have meaning, and memories attached to them.
When I look through my ornaments I remember the people who made, gifted, or once owned them, and it's like a part of them is still with me.
Last year I took pictures of some of my favorites.
I've decided to share them in a blog series.
This one was painted by my mom. It's one of my favorites.
There was a little lamb made of cotton balls in the box with it, and some of the cotton stuck to it. :( You can see it on the bottom left. Thankfully, I was able to clean most of it off,
These two were crocheted by my great-Aunt Wilma.

My babies' first ornaments. The one on the top right has a typo.
It says "Baby"s First Christmas," with a quotation mark instead of an apostrophe. I didn't notice it when I first bought it.
This is a painted okra. It was a gift from my Aunt Hazel.
This ornament pretty much sums up her personality. lolThis was my grandmother's.
More of my grandmother's.
I'm not sure how old her ornaments are, but they were on her tree when I was a child.....so at least 30-40 years old.
