Weekly Round-Up

Weekly Round-Up is where I collect all of my personal posts and favorite snippets from various web sites like Facebook and Twitter.  If you follow me on other sites, this may be redundant.

This week's posts:
9/22- Just finished Downton Abbey season 3. OMG!!! Was that really necessary?!
I’m so jealous of people who live in places that actually have seasons.
9/21- I'm very hungry, but the potatoes aren't cooking fast enough!
-Stitching, watching both Downton Abbey and the LSU game.
- We've gotten 4 inches of rain already!
9/20My baby is 9 years old today. They grow way too quickly for my liking. Happy birthday J.!!!!!!!!
Loving this downpour!!!
-My weekend=my son's b-day party; Downton Abbey ssn 3; and lots of rain, laundry, and stitching.
9/19Aaaand just finished setting up a month's worth of daily emails for J's Easy Peasy science lessons. I put links to each day's lesson in an email and send it to him each day. I'm glad it's all sorted out (for a month at least).
9/19Being a responsible pet owner is very expensive.  Just sayin’.
DON’T get a pet if you aren’t prepared to pay for shots, heartworm preventatives, flea medication, and regular groomings (if need be).  Not to mention having to go to the vet if something goes wrong.
I’m only saying this because my dog hasn’t been well lately and it’s been costing us a crazy amount of money to get him healthy again.  It’s worth it, though, because we love our dog, but I don’t know what we’d do if we couldn’t afford to help him.
9/18I got stung by 2 wasps today. It was my fault. Tried to knock down the nest without killing the wasps first.
9/15J. made a friend on the Playstation a few years ago. They play together almost every day. A few months ago his friend told J. that he was going camping for a week. His friend hadn't been on the PlayStation since then. J. was worried that his friend had died. I told him that probably wasn't true. Tonight his friend is back. His PS was broken. I have one relieved little boy. lol
-Nails did; week planned; groceries bought; time to relax and stitch :)
-B&BW's Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin scent is nasTAY! I thought it would smell like fall, but no. Rotten pumpkin is more like it. lol

Other interesting things from around the WWW:

Now, I love the quadratic formula as much as the next person, but really? What would drive a person to do this?

These lovely wash cloths make me want to crochet again. source

You know that's right!
