I participated in my first International Hermit & Stitch Weekend.
I stitched so much my wrist is hurting. That's never happened before.
This is also my update for the WIPocalypse, and {TH}read.
Because I've just discovered the WIPocalypse, this is not a whole month's worth of work.
It's just the progress over one weekend.
Friday afternoon:
Sunday night:
It's all done except for the rest of the backstitching!
I was hoping to be completely finished, but that didn't happen.
I'm still happy that I got most of it done.
My daughter did some stitching this weekend too.
She's working on a Christmas sampler.

She also made a pillow for me. Two, actually.
She used fat quarters. This one makes an excellent neck pillow. :)
I think I have a problem.
These are all the patterns I currently own (not counting the two I'm currently working on).
It would take me well over a year to make all of these!
And yet, I still want more. lol I can't resist a pretty cross stitch kit.
I bought most of them on sale.
The only one I paid full price for is the one on the middle left, and that was bought with a gift card I got for Christmas.
The MST3K one was free- I found it somewhere online.
It's obviously not a kit, I just put it in the picture because it's on my "to stitch" list.
And for the THread meme, here is my current read:
It's the same as last week, unfortunately.
I plan on finishing this week so I'll have something new to share next week. :)
Until Next Time....

Nice pillow Lainie!!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog from the WIPocalypse check-in on Measi's blog. Your poppies are beautiful! That's a lot of stitching for one weekend. Your daughter's stitching looks great, too!
ReplyDeleteThose poppies are gorgeous! I can see why your wrist hurts. Good job getting all that done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!
ReplyDeleteHi Angie! I also found you through the WIPocalypse check-in. The poppies are lovely. When I first saw your pillow ... I thought it was a stitched piece and I was flipping out! It is beautiful, even if it isn't stitched. PS. I am currently stitching the Berry Patch Rooster.
