My Week

We started school again this week.  So far everything is going smoothly.
Here is J. doing an experiments with worms.
(I really need to re-cover that table.  It's been well used as a craft/painting table).

Wednesday, we went to a thrift shop.  I bought these cars for J.- the lady only charged us for two of them.  That was nice.  :)  He talked about them all the way home.  As soon as we got home he cleaned them with soap and water, then started  racing them in the living room.
Here they are drying off on top of the washing machine.

My weekly dinner date with my husband:

His: four different enchiladas smothered in cheese sauce

Mine: fajita taco salad.  It was sooo good.  You can't really tell from the picture, all the good stuff was on the bottom.  It had fajita steak, onions, bell peppers, and lots of cheese sauce.









Also this week:
* My daughter gave me a pretty pedicure- I have watermelon toes!
* We made mug cakes.  You've seen the recipe floating around the web, right?  Just mix angel food cake mix and any other flavor of cake mix, then just add water.  It worked great!  I bought orange cake mix.  I didn't like it too much- it taste like baby aspirin.  lol  I'm going to buy chocolate mix this weekend.
* I finished my "Nevermore" cross stitch. (I'll be posting a picture Tuesday).
* We bought my daughter a Chi iron for an early birthday gift.  She is over the moon.
* Today (Saturday) I went shopping with my husband.  I bought a bunch of cross-stitch stuff at Hobby Lobby.

And I do believe that's everything.   :)
