This week is going to be all about organization and planning.
I need to arrange an area for our lessons and sort through all the school books so I can plan this year's curriculum.
I will also be making schedules and lists; purging; cleaning out closets (at least two, maybe three); and just getting life in general more orderly.
I am also going to try to start sticking to a regular blog schedule. I will share more about that when I'm done working it all out. For now all I have is Music Monday. It's where I'll share music that I've liked lately or that has been a part of my life for so long that I have stories connected to them.
Into the Mystic-by Van Morrison is one of my favorite songs. I like the way it makes me feel and I can't help singing along.

You Are My Hiding Place by Selah has long been one of the songs I turn to when I need comfort. It reminds me that there is nothing God cannot see us through.
This song
was especially meaningful in 2008 during the days surrounding Hurricane Gustav. That hurricane triggered something in me that took months to recover from. I hate to use the word "breakdown", but that's basically what it was. It was the roughest time of my life. I didn't know if I would make it through, but thanks to God and to my family for their patience and understanding, I made it.
There were a few songs that I held on to during that time, and this was one of them.
Until Next Time...
