Mother/Daughter Music Memories

Since I was a teenager, this has been me and my mom's song. (Incorrect grammar?)  I'm not sure how it began, but I remember "dancing" to it in the car on several occasions.  We always dance together when it comes on.


This is me and my daughter's song. We always sing it together.

This was one of my grandmother's favorite songs. She'd call it the "crazy little women" song. Ha.


I'll Fly Away was my grandmother's favorite hymn. She'd sing it all the time. We played it at her funeral.  It was also her sister's (my great-aunt) favorite song.  We played it at her funeral too.
When I was younger, we would all get together (my grandparents, great-aunts, mom, and some of us kids), play the piano and sing.  This was always one of the first ones we'd sing.
 Needless to say, this song holds bittersweet memories for me.
