I don't think I've made a single real post yet this summer.
Here are some of the summer highlights thus far:
* my oldest got his driver's license (look out world!)
* my youngest (8 year old son) has a blue mohawk
* We've been doing lots and lots of fishing. All six of us went today- we caught about 45 fish altogether. The picture is of a teeny tiny one J. caught today. It was so small the bobber never moved. He just reeled it in to move his line and there it was. lol
* We had a late start setting it up, but our pool is now crystal clear and ready for long days of swimming.
* I've been stitching the Frosted Pumpkin's Summer Sampler (link on my sidebar). I am half way finished with the second line of boxes. I hope to finish in the next day or two and then start on filling the boxes.
* I'm also working on Daisy Yellow's ICAD project. As with everything else, I'm behind. I also started late because I forgot about it. I participated the last two years. It's fun and it's not too late to join. I need to take some photos of my cards soon.
* and of course, lots of reading. I read more in the summer than any other time. I'm behind on my 50 Book Challenge, so hopefully I will catch up soon.
* I am also itching to start gathering curriculum for next school year. I was really unmotivated last year, but I think I'm getting inspired and excited again. :)
I think that is all. I'll close this post with some random photos I've taken recently.
Until Next Time...
It's been a rainy summer
