My eyes were so tired! I'm glad that I read a few books. I'm now only one book behind on the 50 Books Challenge. Yay! I read two books and four short stories (which I totally count as books). I haven't reviewed them yet, but I will do it soon on my book blog.
*I've been having trouble sleeping the past few nights. I finally gave in and took a Unisom last night. I slept soooo good. It's amazing what a good night's sleep will do for you!
* I started a new smashbook/art journal, and a new regular journal. I'm all about fresh starts lately. :) I will do a post about my journals soon.
* I haven't worked on my cross stitch in a few days. I think I'm beginning to lose interest. I'm going to finish the one I'm working on, then it will probably be summer and time for reading and swimming. I'll probably take it up again in the fall.
* We are officially finished with school for the year! Woot! I know most moms dread summer vacation, but homeschool moms (and PS teacher moms too, I suppose) look forward to it. It's a break for us too, and because our kids are home year-round we don't have to get used to a new routine. It's finally time to sit back and relax for awhile! Now if only the rainy weather would clear up.....
* We had a crawfish boil this weekend. It was so good! Most of my family came over and we had a nice time. My house is perfectly suited for entertaining- indoors and out. It's a shame we don't do more of it.... but that's my fault. I have the perfect house for it, but I'm not an entertaining, socializing type of person. Heh.
* Well, that's all I've got for now.
