My Weekend

I spray-painted an old baker's rack (it belonged to my Aunt Hazel).  We also had to cut off the bottom  of it because it was badly rusted.  I need to add a few more plants, but I think it's cute.

We planted a lemon tree.  We love lemonade, so we use lots of lemons (like 2 or more bags a week).  It only made sense to buy a tree.  See the tiny little lemons already on it?

This is what  most of  our summer afternoons look like:

My husband and oldest son built this last year.  We have NO shade in our back yard.  This makes it so nice to sit outside, especially in the afternoons.  (Note:  the blue chair usually isn't there)

Also this weekend: I bought lots of plants and planted them in the front yard; the boys cut the grass; Jm, C and L fixed the living room floor.

Edit:  I just realized I said we have no shade and yet the picture is clearly full of shade.  That shade is from the sun going down behind the house (about 7 pm?)  During the day it's nothing but blazing sun out there.
