In Which I Reveal What a Lame Nerd I Am

I've been watching this show for a few months now, usually  for background noise when I'm doing other things online.
I have to say it is strangely addictive, even though it's horrible.  Ha.
The characters are always forgetting and messing up their lines, calling each other by their real names, knocking things over, etc.
The story lines drag on and the special effects are hilarious.

However, it has a strange allure that keeps me wanting more.

The first couple of seasons are a bit slow (more that usual), then Barnabas Collins arrives and it gets more interesting.
So far there have been vampires, witches, time travel, Frankenstein-type monsters, werewolves, and ghosts.

The story line that I'm watching now is the creepiest so far.  It involves two children who are being controlled by ghosts.  I don't know what it is about evil kids that gets to me, but it freaks me out.  Especially when they do something strange and then smile at each other creepily.  *shudder*   Also, there's a simultaneous werewolf story line, most of the main characters are leaving for one reason or other, and Barnabas isn't even a vampire anymore.

I started watching this show on Netflix a year or so ago.  They have it on streaming, but it ends abruptly in the middle of a season.
I recently found all the episodes online.  If you're interested, you can watch them here.
